In theory, if a larger percentage of users used the spam reporting e-mail addresses I posted above, perhaps Apple would get the message there too.

Doesn’t matter how many times in the past 6 months I’ve submitted (as attachments) the exact same spammed fake email from “Costco” to Abuse at iCloud dot com and ReportPhishing at apple dot com. Sadly, it’s something that Apple can’t seem to control on its own domains (mac, me, or icloud) either. Typical of Apple’s corporate playbook, it remains another disappointing and unacknowledged bug.Īs you’ll note from the thread below, I had a level 2 tech from Apple just walk away and abandon my query as to why no part of this feature worked or when it might. And it still hangs there in a pulldown menu looking promising, a cruel taunt.
This much-needed feature has NEVER worked. You’re right to complain and hope you read the entire thread here from 2019. You’re a little late to this party (2.5 years), but this feature still doesn’t work.
